Julie H. Hall, MA, JD was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and returned after receiving her graduate degrees
from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She soon discovered she enjoyed combining her
commitment to social justice and writing as a grant writer. She actively participated as a community
volunteer culminating in a bid for state senate in 2012. When the state Sickle Cell Association lost its
funding, Julie volunteered to help Supporters with the initial steps to become a 501(c)3 non-profit. Over
the past decade, Julie has continued to assist the organization in securing resources. In 2019, she joined
the SFSCD Advisory Board.
