Supporters of Families with Sickle Cell Disease, Inc. invites community members, families, caregivers, advocates, healthcare professionals, and other interested members of the public to attend a Legislative Interim Study on Sickle Cell Disease at the Oklahoma State Capitol.

This session will provide an opportunity for state leaders and attendees to hear about the experiences of people and families affected by sickle cell disease and to learn more about issues surrounding access to care, resources, support, and potential solutions across Oklahoma.

About the Interim Study

Sickle cell disease affects individuals and families across Oklahoma, yet many people continue to face challenges involving healthcare access, treatment, awareness, and support.

The Legislative Interim Study provides a forum for information, discussion, and firsthand perspectives related to sickle cell disease and the needs of Oklahoma families.
